I get harassing phone calls at least once a day every other day. They know my friends name because they may get it off a payday loan that I might have looked into. If you need a payday loan do not I repeat do not go on a public sight that you may get on a e-mail and fill out the information because this is where they get your information from. If it is necessary go on a specific loan sights www address. They have told me time and time again they are going to take me to court. I have asked for and have never received anytthing proving that I owe the debt. The one individual that has called me numerous times is Jonathan Night. Do not pay them unless you are sure you owe them. No proof no pay. Besides if it was a real lawyer from Anderson law firm they wouldn't be talking to you you would already be in front of a judge. God Bless you all. From a person who has been taken to task by a fraudulent place.
There is another agency who claims I owe a debt to and never borrowed anything from. They have a guy call saying he is a private detective. He calls about every other month saying that I am wanted and that I have a warrant for my arrestfor failure to appear. Appear for what?? I have never done anything wrong. The guys name is Officer Ross. Also goes by a different name (can't remember what it is). Also a fraudulent collector.
I have had d the same thing happen. He says his name is David Bentley. They won't stop calling or give me any info and I too was looking into an auto loan.
Received the same voicemail. Their number is 786-245-5199. Strong Indian accent. Said his name was Matthew Jones and he was a paralegal from Anderson Law Firm. He mentioned my step dad's name and said that he is guilty of financial fraud and that if I don't call in to provide information about my step-dad, then I will be found guilty also. This same thing happened about a year ago when I simply ignored the call assuming it was a scam. This time around I decided to call back. This is exactly how the short conversation went:
Indian Guy (IG) : Anderson Law
Me: Hi My name is Nicole and I just received a call from this number. (Pretending to sound sweet and concerned)
IG: What is your phone number?
Me: It is ***-***-****
IG: Ah yes Nicole ****. We were contacting you in reference to W******* C*******. Do you know him?
Me: (Tone gradually become more forceful) Yes I know him, I also knew him LAST YEAR when you people called me with this same crap but I did a reverse phone lookup and saw that you are scam artists and if you call me again I'm going to report.......
HE HUNG UP AND LINE WENT DEAD
Don't you think a reputable company would have stayed on the line to explain to me the purpose of the call and to show their credibility. It's a SCAM! Report them to the FTC asap... I just did.
I received 4 phone calls from the so called Anderson Law Firm stating everything that everyone else is saying. The guy who calls me is Andrew Johnson. In his last message, he stated that the police in my state are going to come to my door step and serve/arrest me and my employer and all of my references will be served. I should receive a summons from the courthose. Such a scam!!!! They are totally crazy!!! I am going to continue to ignore the calls.
I thought they had an african accent. Then another guy got on the phone when I said put someone on the phone that speaks english. No offense to anyone. He then sounded like an India dude. I told them give me a complaint number from the party trying to sue me and he said some wack cash advance america.His name was Andrew Jackson. I laughed . Then he hung up. They havent picked up ever since i drilled them on how a professional law associate should answer the phone. Instead of just saying hello.
