This guy called my job this morning, claiming to be from Anderson Law Firm, saying I had a loan that I didnt pay, So theres a lawsuit against my social security# and that I had 2 hrs to settle it, Although I have had several loans, I also knew I had paid them off. So what was this crazy and rude man on the phone calling himself Mr.Baker, Well I told him I would call hi back after I check on my records. I hung up the phone, got on the computer and looked up Anderson Law Firm, There were 3 listed, none with ihe number that called me, And then,I typed in the phone number that called me, And thats when I found out that they were fraudulent. So ater I notified my bank and got home from work, I called him back and gave him the business, I told him he should be ashamed before God to try to beat hard-working people out of their money, I know Im struggling with bills, But by the grace of God Im making it. Of curse he hung up on me. REALLY!!!!!!!!
Received a call from this number asking for one of my employees. I gave him the message. He said he called them back and I was a scam. They just called back. I told them this was a place of business and not to call back or I would report them to the Attorney Generals office. He called back and asked me if I was a [***], I started laughing and he said he would call me over and over because I was such a [***]. I hung up.
What a scam. It was the same Indian guy described above and originally he identified himself as Steve Anderson.
I too am a target of these people. The callers accent is so strong you can barely understand. He keeps calling saying he is from Anderson law firm and my SS# is under investigation and I must send $380 within 48 hous or the local police will pick me up . The loan company he says I owe money to is one I have never heard of. I have contacted SS and the federal trade to inform then of possible ID theft, This is nothing but a scam trying to obtain funds from me!
I am continuously harassed by an individual from this number. He claims his name is Michael Johnson. He has a very thick indian accent. How do I block these calls?
