Called about updating anti virus software set to expire only computor. Told him I would relay message to homeowner and she knows who to contact for upgrade! Hung up on me before I could finish! SCAM you think!!!!
anti-virus was going to expire... i told them i had not purchased an anti-virus ... they assured me that since i was in their database, i had purchased one...now if i could just go to my computer, we could renew the subscription... as i was explaining that the ONLY anti-virus i ever purchased was on my original desktop of 15 years ago , she hung up... first time i have heard of a computer scam from folks with no heavy middle eastern accents... that was different
I didn't answer the phone but then called the number. A women answered and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling, she hung up. Whitepages provides no information. Number blocked.
