they call with a Middle Eastern accent and say they're from the US health department which is a total lie the health department would be calling you this be contacting you with snail mail .I hang up as soon as I hear you US health department from a Middle Eastern accent
Someone call me from that number of 786-405-8948 but I did NOT pick up. So I decided to call back and gotten a female lady and she said she was from the mediciad dept and that if I had any segurys whcih she gave me a list and after she told me it all of the names she said all of them was a guy sugery and I told her nice try I am a female so why do I need to go under the knife for a guy sugery to begin with. Next I know she hang up on me. So I knew right there is a scam why tell me a list which is for guys knowing that I am a female to begin with.
A man with an Indian accent called my office (I'm the receptionist here) and said that I qualified for medical compensation for the procedure I had done. I've never had any "procedure" done. He never once asked for my name or anyone specifically. So I told him that this was a business and to remove us from their call list.
Same phone#, but I never answer any area code # I don't know. Not worth answering and they can leave a voice message, if important. This method of answering my phone has stopped the annoyance, after all I pay the phone bill..
I receive calls asking for "Maria" a few times a month from a guy or girl with Indian Accent. Despite me telling them I have had this number for 12+ years and they hang up then I hear from them a few weeks later and from a different number. I block the new number each time.
