Same here also Christina Brown called and left same message- I call them back and asked for their names and office location before I give them any of my information- it was then that they hung up on me and also blocked my calls because now I can't call them back to harass them- only busy signal when I call their number.
Number called me and said it was the Dept of US Treasury. The asked for the name and number of my legal attorney and then stated a Law Enforcement action had been taken against me. Then they said that an arrest warrant had been issued for me and it had to be served today. I told them that "I've been at the same address for 30 years and my father is a police officer" and the guy hung up. This is obviously a scam. When I called back, the caller verified my name and the original number they called me on. They immediately told me that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. The did NOT verify my date of birth of social security number. So the tactic is to scare the called person so that person will be off guard and divulge their social, credit card number "to take care of the problem", etc.
Someone from this number called my home phone today, and when I called back, they said they were from U.S. Treasury and that I owed a delinquency and that the IRS had sent me 3 different notices about it and, since I didn't respond they were issuing a warrant for my arrest!
Sane as above but the left a message on my answering machine, they also left a phone number for me to call back and when I call that number back everytime I call it it was a busy signal. The phone number they left on my machine for me to call them back Was 1-786-735-2007. And she also said her name was Christina Brown
