Called at 908pm Pacific on my personal cell. I didn't answer and caller left a 3-second silent voicemail. Called it back and got busy signals on all attempts.
I got a call at 1:11 PM on Sept 16 -- computer generated voice -- about my credit card (did not say which one) account being closed and to press 1 for help. Since my cell phone is a work phone (US Govt) and not associated with any credit card, I knew immediately it was a scam.
This morning received a phone call from this number on my cell phone. When I answered it, a robocall message from "Bank of America" was reporting a problem with my debit card. No one spoke and I hung up. I have a mortgage loan with Bank of America, but do not have any other accounts. This seemed very suspicious, so I'm glad that I looked up the number and found info about a possible scam. Internet can be very helpful sometimes.
