Autodialed Phishing For Fraud Call. Dodn't recognized the number, didn't answer. A very poor quality and clipped speech synthesized voice message was left... we regret to inform you that your debit card has been lock... please call the security department at... No identifying info profided... Obviously an Autodialed Phishing Call. I did not call back. Added number as an entry in my phones contacts and labeled it "zzz Don't Answer." added to the "zzz Don't Answer Group" which has it's own special ringtone.
A female voice ROBO Recording saying Hello from Bank of America, We regret to inform you your debit card has been Locked, to unlock please press 1 now. Obviously a scam since I have no such card.
Message said they were BofA and that my debit card has been locked. Asked that I press "1" to be connected to an operator which I did. Ask for my 16 digit card number so i input 9999999999999999 and an expiration date which i input as 01/99. I was connected to an operator who asked for my SS# and I replied I would have to get that could i place them on hold which they allowed. I placed the call on hold and every 3 to 5 minutes I went back and picked up the line and told then I was still looking for that number and would be right back. Afet about 35 minutes they hung up! Nice customer service for a bunch of scammers! BTW the dude had a heavy accent so I suspect they are locoed overseas.
