Autodialed Phishing For Fraud Call. Dodn't recognized the number, didn't answer. A very poor quality and clipped speech synthesized voice message was left... we regret to inform you that your debit card has been lock... please call the security department at... No identifying info profided... Obviously an Autodialed Phishing Call. I did not call back. Added number as an entry in my phones contacts and labeled it "zzz Don't Answer." added to the "zzz Don't Answer Group" which has it's own special ringtone.
Received a call this morning that said my Bank of America card had been compromised. I was instructed to press 1. I feel sorry for the elderly who are vulnerable and might fall for the trap and enter personal bank info.
Received the same call, SCAM Bank of America recording, phishing for financial information. Said debit card was hacked, asked for card and pin number. Talked to BOA, it is a scam. Replaced my card just to be sure.
I just received a call from 801-396-8280....since we have relatives in the area, I answered and said, "hello" -- no response, just dead air....I waited quietly for about 10 secs, but no robo-anything started up so I just hung up.
