Technical support scam. They targeted my parents before. Told my dad he had to go out and get a Moneygram for $199 to remove viruses from his computer. Um...no. Can't believe nobody has destroyed these [***] yet.
I am receiving UNWANTED calls from this number and the jerk has a "private number/name" so he can not be contacted. I have received calls from various numbers like this across the country since January 2015. I am registered with, The National Do Not Call, what ever good that does. My next step will be to change my home phone number.
id as some clown in Utah. From the posts it could be one of 20-different scams. Utah like many other
states seem to be the orgin of these type calls. I get a kick out of these posters going on about being on
the -- do not call list or I am going to report to the FTC or hire an atty to sue. What nonsense.
I got a call from them saying that I submitted an application for a payday loan, I said that I did not fill out any applications for loans and they hung up. Scammers.
