Technical support scam. They targeted my parents before. Told my dad he had to go out and get a Moneygram for $199 to remove viruses from his computer. Um...no. Can't believe nobody has destroyed these [***] yet.
Got this call on my cell phone, let the call go to voicemail, but no message left. I googled the number & found my way to this website, glad I did! The number will be blocked.
Wish the FTC would do their job as I have reported this caller complaint to them. Getting other calls from different numbers - seems like when it rains ... it pours!!! All the crazies are out calling folks to disturb them ... trying to make a quick buck I guess but I want my TAX dollars put to good use - FTC, stop them!!!
Got a call from 8014107837. They must have forgot about me because I was listening to them talking and laughing, there were a lot of people in the room. I stayed on the line for about 2 minutes hoping to pick up some bits and pieces of info, but they were just joking and talking. Finally, they hung up.
