I received a call but didn't answer since it wasn't in my contact list. The following week I received a follow-up letter in the mail from Fidelity letting me know they had tried to reach me by phone. It could be legit, I do have a account with them, but I know how to contact them if I want to.
Caller ID shows this number is from Fidelity Investments. "Kevin" left a message about how they wanted to "help" me. Right. Caller ID scams change the display to look as though it's from a legitimate company, when in reality, it's from some guy in prison. Do not give any personal information, just hang up!
Got a call at work from 801-828-1800 and left no voicemail, but also got a call on home phone and they did leave a voicemail and it was from a Fidelity agent I've talked to in the past who is assigned to help customers with retirement and investment planning. Very helpful (almost to the point of too helpful and annoying, but that's better than the opposite).
