I had same thing happen, but in this case the name he asked for wasn't mine and no one I knew. I hardly ever use my call phone but answered because it had a VT area code the state I live in. I wonder if there is a way to report this to the state? The Do Not Call reg doesn't seem to do anything and this place isn't trying to sell anything (maybe just see if it's a real number?)
Another day... Nov 7 2013 got call and answered it (due to it being the area code I live in) and same thing. Someone with heavy accent asked for Mark Harmon (?) i said you have the wrong number he said that's the number he put on his resume. I said well it's not his, I've had this phoine for 3 years. He applogized for taking my time. I had forgotten about the previous call like this till I looked here and saw my post from before.

Post a resume on any online job search site and, evidently, they sell your information to telemarketers. I couldn't even understand what company the woman said she was representing, but she sure didn't sound like she was in Rutland Vermont.
