Received a call stating they were calling from the CT state dept of health. After informing them I was on the DNC list they informed they had reached my number through a process of Random Digital Dialing. Which is something about how there diaper is set up with the area code and prefix automatically then the dialed proceeds to dial the last 4 digits at random (I guess to avoid any form of discrimination based on income, martial status, or race). After a few more questions I had felt comfortable enough to participate. No indentifying information was asked of me and for some of the questions I refused to answer the interviewer would politely move on to whatever question they had next without any hassle. It's a long twenty minutes but it was informative and overall not as bad as I had thought it was going to be
Another call from 802-264-3580 to cell phone. Rang a few times and they hung up. Notes here indicate this number has been used to call people for more than 3 years. Um, they are going to stop this today, right? :)
This number called my phone at 7:00 pm on Sunday night! I do not answer calls from numbers I don't know. They don't leave a message. I thought these types of calls were not to be made on Sundays?
They called me at 8:36 p.m. on a Sunday night(9/7/14)! Absolutely unacceptable!! It is a survey for the CT. Dept. of Health! Funny enough my wive is a doctor at UCONN Medical Facility in Farmington, CT. and she is looking into why they would be calling me. I did have an accident requiring stitches in my knee a couple months back. I went to UCONN Medical for the injury. I'm thinking this survey is related to my accident?
