Lady called claiming to be with Direct TV and wanting to offer me channels for free for several months, for being a valued customer. I asked her if I would need to call back to cancel the channels later and she said I would get emails informing me before they would charge my account. I hung up and looked at the channels she said she was giving me, I immediately called Direct TV to tell them I did not want these channels. They were adult channels. Direct TV said there was no changes to my account and that the 805-256-1462 is not them. Do not pick up!
I've received calls from this number on 7/6, 7/7 and 7/9; between 8:32 p.m. and 8:51 p.m. ID says "California call". I do not answer ANY call if I do not know who it is....this number rings 3 times and hangs up. I see from other comments this is from DirectTv...I have been a DirectTv customer for ten years and they always at least leave a message.....plus I have not had any recent service calls.
been receiving calls from this number almost every other day. I have Directv too but never a message left. I do not answer calls that I do not know and if Directv why do they not ID themselves? Very annoying calls!
Get a call from this number almost everyday and sometimes twice in one day. Never answer it. Goes to answering machine and they never leave a message. If it is DirecTV, they should at least leave a message. We are a DirecTV customer. They should know by now that we will never answer a call from an unknown phone number.
