My son is serving in Iraq. Anytime I see an area code that i don't recognize now i answer. This has bitten me with one telemarketer who i informed to take me off their list. But the chance of missing a call from my son was worth the annoyance.
Didn’t answer thinking this was telemarketer, but was from a Marine that was supposed to have been in Thailand. Sounds like he is in Iraq and just doesn't want to worry anyone in his family. Is this possible?
First off, Random Drifter, your step brother may be a jerk to you but he is still serving our country and fighting for his life. I think it is terrible that you would wish bad treatment upon someone.
And second off, my boyfriend is USAF and he calls from this number. I saved it under his name and assigned it his ringtone from when he was in the states. I've yet to miss a call! Try it it works!!!
There is no way to call a loved one back, you just have to wait for their calls!
My only advice is to turn the ringer up on your phone and have it by you 24-7!

the calls from the middle east are relayed through hawaii
you can not call it back, so dont miss the call
Dont hang up, sometaimes it takes a moment or 2 for it to connect and you to hear them
Also every time he has called its been the same # so I saved it in my phone and put a different ring tone that is very loud and annoying so I never miss his calls!
