Just keep hanging up on them or blow a whistle in the phone when they call. If they are calling your work tell whoever answers the phone to tell them that you no longer work there, they will quit calling after awhile
Received a phone call today from 813-435-6301. Said his name was Robin Smith and he had a thick Indian/British accent from Consolidated Services and Federal Crime Prevention, said something about my SS# and also quoted my street address, said there would be people out to see me to investigate.
They called my references first. Heavy accents are almost comical except they are pointed and persistent and have all of my relevant personal information. Used online payday loan search but never accepted loan. Big mistake to expose so much information. I did find unauthorized ACH withdrawals for past six months. Working on reclaiming funds and fees. Filed FTC complaint. Would love to sue under FDCPA if we can find who these clowns are and where they are; seems like boiler room in 3rd world. ACS and Neil Thomas are consistent identifiers.
they started calling my work and saying that I owed a loan to the Federal Government, and they had a very definite accent, said his name was officer Jason. He said they would come and arrest me at work and wanted to know if I had ever been in trouble before, in jail, on probation, and I said no to all of the above. Then he wanted my social security number and I said that if they worked for the government they should know it, at that point I knew this was a scam. They call at work about 50 times a day and say they will rape and kill me. They will not stop these calls, has anyone figured out how to stop them? Please let me know. I did have one person tell me that they were out of Japan and using this Tampa number
I received the same kind fo message from this same person using this name. Theya re a scam and nobody should call them or give them any kind of information.
i got a phone call from arron smith saying he works for the county I have LEO background and he failed to answer any of my questions i had for him. I also told him I was in his area and would like to discuss this in person. So i belive they all use the Smith last name.
