Just keep hanging up on them or blow a whistle in the phone when they call. If they are calling your work tell whoever answers the phone to tell them that you no longer work there, they will quit calling after awhile
i received a call from friend stating that someone left her a vm regarding myself that i had a loan that if i didnt pay back that something bad was going to happen to your friend. i proceeded to contact the number and when called i asked for the person name and was given Kevin and went on to say that i took out a loan online and did not repay loan and when i asked when was this loan taken out he informed me that loan was taken out in Dec 09 and i knew that i hadnt taken any loans out at that time. i asked for documentation and he told me that when i applied for the loan it says that all loans are paperless and there would be no documetation, i asked for the name of the company that i so called took this loan out with and he told me Cash Advance and i told him i never took a loan out with a Cash advance, then kevin began to get loud with me saying that i owed this money and i told him unless he could provide me some type of documentation that this is conversation is void and i was not intimidated by his threats. Kevin called me a stupid lady and hung up the phone in my face, which gave me the inclination that this was fraud also. I called the number back and the same guy answers the phone and i asked for his name and he said that his name was Kevin McClain and i told that is all that i needed because this is the stupid lady you just spoke with and he told me to go to XXXX and hung up again.
A man called me from 813-435-6301 saying that I had committed fraud by taking an internet loan and not paying it back. He claimed to be from a law firm called ACS. They refused to give me any info, wouldn't say when I had received this supposed loan. I NEVER received this money and obviously bank statements will verify this. They got angry and abusive and hung up on me when I repeatedly asked them when this transaction had happened. They told me I owed much more than the $300 loan amount , but of course would not say how much. They changed their story frequently. I am reporting this fraud immediately. This is all very disturbing to me. These people steal all personal information and then attempt to bully and blackmail people into paying for something they never received.
Make sure that anyone that you know will not give them any information if they are called about you, especially your work phone because they will call your work at least 20 times a day, and then they will start making threats to rape and kill you and your family. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE STOPPED, ANY IDEAS OUT THERE??????????????????
