Complete scam. They made the mistake of calling an actual attorney. Every jurisdiction requires proper service. A message is not proper service and not returning their call does not equate to a waiver of counsel or failure to file an appearance. Call them back. Tell them your name is Toby and that you work in the kitchen. Call late at night or early in the morning.
Received voice message that they need a return call. Did not leave an account# or name. If legit something should have been received in the mail. SCAM!!!
45 minutes ago - Received a 3rd call from a Robyn claiming to be from a law firm called (Sounded like) James Roberts Associates leaving a message that if I didn't return her call today, she would turn my name over to the Fargo courts stating I refused service from her on this matter. I returned the call and was told I committed 2 felonies and check fraud and would have to appear in court to dispute these charges. I told her I never heard of the company who made these claims and repeated my statement again. She answered: "Well you did these things and good luck in court" and hung up. I am writing a letter to the Attorney General of the State of North Dakota to investigate this company.
Caller leaves messages on cellphone as Robin Whithead from Jennings Roberts and associates saying that I have a pending case with them and I Or my attorney should call back . I call back and she is very rude ghetto language def not a lawyers office , cannot find them online and they called 3 different days. She blocked my number so I called back on another phone and she was pretending to talk to someone in the office and no one replied, horrible acting definitely a fraud call. Call the attorney general in your state they can tell you if you have a case pending. Don't trust these scammers.
