This number continued to call the new cell number that I just got. Down loaded a program to block all numbers that are spam or garbage. Works great and it is free.
I received calls from the law office every day this week, I finally decided to call back and I was told they were looking for "Claudia" a short lady with brown hair ; I informed them that I did not know such person, however the guy did not believe me. I asked him to take me off his list since this is my new phone number and I did not want him calling me every day. Let's see what they do.
Calling due to someone who apparently used to own this number. I asked them to remove from their call list and told them that the person has not owned this number in 5 years.
The person was polite and removed me from the list. So far no calls in a week from them, when I used to get them multiple times a day.
I have received numerous phone calls from this number as well as two other toll free numbers used by the same organization simply stating that it was law office of w thomas engel and to call. I know I posted another message on one of the two toll free numbers last month. I finally returned the call today to find out that they were looking for a "john (last name omitted)". Since I'm female and have had my cell phone number for 6 years, I told the girl who answered the phone I had no idea who this person was. She said she'd take my number out of her system, but it may take up to 48 hours. We'll see if I receive any more calls.
I get call's almost everyday, same thing every time. When I called back the first time I got a recording telling me to call another number. Is there any way to sue for harassment?
I too have gotten calls from this number and other numbers from w. thomas engle Law. I tried to call back but did not go through. they call about every other day. I will block these numbers!
