This number continued to call the new cell number that I just got. Down loaded a program to block all numbers that are spam or garbage. Works great and it is free.

It looks like they have a bad rating at the BBB as well. I would suggest that you file reports with the BBB so that their rating remains poor and also at both the federal agency that is in charge of debt collectors as well as your state AG. I have provided links for your convenience.
You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. I got this call months ago. And then again. They said I have a outstanding debt with us bank. Which I paid back in 2010. It's even on my credit statement as paid. I asked back in may for a statement in the mail. Never got it. Then started calling again , and it's the same thing. I keep asking them to send me info and they wont. I even called us bank and they said my debt was paid. And this was a debt due to overdraft fees which they got sued for anyway.
