Left me a text message on my cell phone, but didn't identify themselves. Said it was urgent that I contact them. Now I'm 76 years old, and I don't do "text messaging". Took me awhile to figure how to erase it.
They called from this number 818-252-1981 asking for the owner of the farm. This is not a farm I get several calls a week. They are a scam don't answer their calls.
Giving me the run-around. I'm pretty sure this is illegal.
They called asking for the person in charge of purchasing tools. I asked to be placed on their do-not-call list & they gave me a number to call so I could use their automated systemt o do that: 818-237-3547. I called the number which lead to a VERY long message that did not add me to their do-not-call list but instead gave me an email address I was suppsoed to email my company's address & phone number to finally be added to their do-not-call list. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to make someone take steps beyond saying "Put me on your do-not-call list" to stop getting calls.
