I am 15 years old, these people called me and there is one problem, there were no zeroes but they told me my acc was locked and they said press 1 to talk to one of our agents or something, so I press one as my stuborn self, and it is still a computerized recorder voice call, and it said press one to unlock my acc and something or other.
Received on my cell phone tonight and on my husbands earlier today WHILE WE WERE AT HIS MOM'S FUNERAL. All that shows on our caller ID on our Verizon cell phone is 847.
I answered mine and hung up on a recorded voice that said my accounts were being closed. (I do not have any pass due accounts). This is unacceptable.
I use a Call Blocker on my cellphone which works really well. The only problem, when it blocked this call from "847" is then they send a text message from 1121611611 with the message "847 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. This party does not accept messages from unknown numbers." Put that number in my Call Blocker as well.
My recommendation is if you are getting these calls on your cellphone, use Call Blocker!

I might be in the wrong forum, so I apologize if this isn't relevant. But, I got a call from a +847. That's all it said. I'm wondering if it's 847-000-0000? And maybe they blocked the numbers so I would answer thinking it's something official? So sketchy. Anybody ever get a call like that with a plus sign?
