It seems your ignorance of the DNC knows no bounds. First, legitimate telemarketers buy the list to comply with the law. Now if they didn't do that, then how would they know which phone numbers not to call? Magic? ESP? Perhaps a crystal ball? Maybe they should go out and hire a fortune teller full time?
It also seems that you have indicated that this is a "legal group" . So does that mean debt collector? Well debt collectors are not covered by the DNC (because they are not telemarketers and are not selling anything) since they have their own special law. Did you possibly read and actually comprehend the instructions on the DNC list before signing up? Because it clearly and succinctly tells you what it does and does not cover.
Oh and remember how I said legitimate telemarketers. That means that anyone calling you to sell you something and violating the DNC is a criminal, who by definition never obey laws to begin with.
