I got the same message left on my voice mail from same phone number, caller ID says Blackwood NJ. On my message the caller left his name as "James Caston", he spoke with an accent. I'd say the message was pre-recorded.
I got one today also from Stuart Wilson with an accent. He left a message and said if I don't call back today they will take legal action and something about a US magistrate. There was something about this, or something similar, recently on the news saying it was a scam and to be careful. I don't intend to call back.
got exactly the same thing...this is the second call like this I have gotten...the person calling sounds foreign and I can assure you a matter of this stated magnitude would not be handled like this- has to be a scam. I sure would like to report it somehow
So, add me to the list of bemused recipients of a call from Mr. "Stuart Wilson". My home answering machine is well-acquainted with the recitation of the "oh-so-scary" scripts just like this by other third-world scam artists like him, and it selflessly spares me from having to field these comical interruptions directly. This latest variation was received this afternoon at 3;25 PM PST on 12/03. I had to replay the message several times, because I could swear that in his bogus identification, he stated, "Hi. My name is Tulips Wilson." As an aside, I actually would like to meet an individual who was named Tulips; it could prove to be rather interesting. But then again, maybe the misheard, make-believe name he stated really was "Two Lips". In that case, that may be the only factually correct thing that he uttered during his entire scam message.
