Got call from this number. No one there when I answered. No message left. When I called the number, I got a "You have reached a number that has been disconnected or no longer in service." Obviously spoofing the caller ID!
They called me and tried to tell me they could "lower my interest rate" and when I asked which account they could not tell me which account they were calling for and I was passed onto a supervisor. The supervisor was a fast, smooth talker. They told me it was for a Visa, Amex, or Mastercard. They wanted my expiration date, and my 16 digit account number on the front of my card to "verify" who I was and to verify my account number. When I questioned this tactic I was quickly hung up on.
Same message everyone is Getting, lower you credit card rate to as low as 6.9%. I pressed "1" in order to speak with a person and put them on blast for calling me about nothing, but it disconected the call and when I called it back it was the same voice that called me and said it was no longer a working number. I wonder what they get out of this and why someone would spend money to do this.
