They tried calling at 8:25pm - since I don't generally answer bogus calls during the day either - maybe they thought they would get lucky.
Seeing as there are several scams running from this number....
Another site says this number tries to sell auto insurance and claims to be from the US Pharmacy. Add that to credit card scam, Fake IRS and bogus computer repair.
Caller ID just said New Jersey. I don't answer just City and State or just State calls. Or pretty much any number I don't recognize.
And they didn't leave a message. Big surprise.
Posted resume online and now I have all these junk calls! My number is on the DNC list for BS calls. Called# back and it's out of service. BLOCKING IT on my iphone.
Got a message saying they were from Bankers Life and had seen my resume on Monster, which I do have one posted. But told me to call them back at a different number than the one that had called. So who knows.
I did fall for it. I then called Microsoft (who they said they represented) and was told they did not have "partners" Thankfully, my credit card company went after them. I really thought I was smarter than to fall for this. I'm getting calls daily from all over the US now and I have called the number back ..........guess what.............none of them are working numbers. I've blocked calls but new ones just keep pouring in.
I have eliminated a lot of calls by answering unknown numbers to me as county sheriff's office or FBI hotline how may I help you. This is probably not very legal but my calls have decreased dramatically on cell and business phone
