Recording claiming to be Marriott Hotels giving away two free nights. Web search showed this number to be tied to scam IRS and HP service calls as wells.
Today it's not the IRS or Dell Computers, now it's Sue Parker calling about my auto insurance payment. I don't have an auto insurance payment due for months, and it's on auto-pay. Don't these people have anything better to do?
Foreign gentleman called and claimed to be from Card Member Services. Stated that they could help reducing my credit card rate to 0%. When I stated that I only had one credit card with a 2.9% interest rate, he stated that they could not help me. He then proceeded to asking where I am from, if I was married, and insisted that I needed to come visit him in Florida. Even after I told him no and that I am married nor interested, he kept insisting that I become his "friend" and come visit him, that he could take "good care" of me. I hung up on him! Creepy!!
