Rather than answering this harassing (862)-849-8002 phone number, I googled it and found this delighted posting, which was very enlightening, btw. This number has been calling everyday... at the same time. Yippie!
Caller ID showed that a "Cell Phone NJ" 862-849-8002 called. NO message on the answering machine. I always check Caller ID now BEFORE even answering (especially if the number looks like an OUT OF AREA OUT OF STATE call. I also check for messages when I get back from being out I check to see what numbers called, even if there are no messages on the answering machine.
I am on the Do NOT Call list. I have learned over the last few years that the Do Not Call list DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING ANYMORE. These Jerkfaces still call. I don't get as many as I used to a few years back but these types of people will always find ways around the system.
Dec 8th at 12:00pm got an automated call from this number stating that my family had won a fabulous vacation and to press 1 to speak to a representative. They then went through the recording again and said you could press 3 to be removed from the list, but I opted to just hang up and put in a complaint on the FTC website. i have a feeling from the posts here that pressing three would get me ONTO a list instead of OFF one.
