I got a call from this number too. Just so happens earlier I had been checking to see if I was still on the no call list. I was but as I was reading on the site it said that these automated calls are illegal and should be reported. The only automated calls that can be legal are from doctor offices and schools. Also if you are on the no call list it only (suppose to) keep telemarketers from contacting you but does not stop charities or fundraisers. I think these should be included and also should be included are the annoying calls I go during the latest election in my area. I got at least 10 to 15 calls per day asking me how I was going to vote ... like it was any ones buisness. My suggestion is for every one to report these calls maybe some one will get tired of the complaints and do something about it.
These guys called me last night. I spoke with a young make. I asked to be taken off the call list and he said he could hear me. I repeated myself louder and he said he couldn't hear out of his left ear. I than spoke very loud, slow and clear stating to take me off the call list. He than asked why I was yelling at him. I explained I was speaking so he could hear. I again asked to be taken off the list speaking loud, slow and clear. He than asked why I was speaking to him like he was retarded. He recommended I losen up and play some poker. I asked to speak with his supervisor and he than hung up.
Got a call from this number but did NOT answer the phone. Too many 800 numbers today are nothing but scams. Read the previous messages and saw that the FTC has been notified of this and yet, the caller continues to make the calls anyway. This HAS got to STOP! Why is it that calls from that number cannot be blocked?
