I, too, got a card in the mail about Medicare changes. Telemarketers can legally call you, even on the DNC list, if you have ever had business with them. Sending me a card does not constitute a business relationship. ANYONE who calls me and I haven't done business with them before I consider scammers. Anyway, I don't have Medicare! I'm lucky enough to have affordable insurance with my pension plan with my former employer. So these people and all the other Medicare telemarketers are just targeting people over 62yo. Scumbags every one.

You are right in that sending a card in the mail does not constitute a business relationship. If you call back that number and request information, they are then allowed to call you. However whether you have a business relationship or not, they must stop calling you when told to do so.
Further, any company that is marketing Medicare supplement insurance is violating the law.
If I wanted insurance from them I would call them. I do not appreciate annoying, unsolicited phone calls. Why would they cold call someone who had not expressed any interest in their products.
