Just got a call from Cedric, Caller ID says GSA Greenville. He did not sound professional to say the least and when I inquired about some of the bad things about the GSA in Vegas, he hung up on me. When I googled the company name I came up with nothing but a bunch of information regarding scam. I guess he didnt realize what a favor he did by hanging up on me
Today, I received a call at work from a guy who said he was "Ryan Meyers at GSA South Carolina" who asked to "speak with the owner of our company regarding a 5 year GSA contract with the federal government". I informed him that the owner of our company was in a different office and Ryan asked me to have our owner call him back at "864-438-3285 extension 3072". Our company is located in Chicago.
My wife received a call from "Jim" at extension 3012 about some sort of government contract... I wasn't home and didn't have to deal with him. My wife didn't remember the name of the company.
I live on Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands (USA)!!!
Received call at 8:47 AM from 864-438-3285 extension 3070. Caller was a woman, Yarborough from GSA. She left a very long message on my voicemail. I run a graphic consulting firm. Any numbers like this, I check at 800notes.com. I am in Florida, so they must be calling all over the USA. I think they probably victimize smaller firms.
Got a similar call 4-18-2012; found this list of comments so did NOT call back. "GSA South Carolina" can be found at http://www.gsasouthcarolina.com/; as suspected, it's marketing a service but is not the USG GSA.
