We provide accounting solutions to companies that work with the Federal Government. It's very expensive to become compliant. It sounds like these guys are trying to work as a consulting company to help people get on the GSA preferred list of vendors. I said I wasn't interested.
For what it's worth, there are contracts to be had with the Feds, but if you are not in the game all the way, you shouldn't just give it a try. It's not worth it.
It sounds like these guys are just giving it the old college try with a sideways form of marketing. I'm not saying I like it, but whatever floats their boat.
Caller ID said GSA SC.
Wants me to arrange with them to get a big FAT 5 year contract with the good ol' Fed. Gov. I strongly suspected I was about to be asked for my first born (or possibly a blank check). So, I asked them if the fat contract was spelled "phatty".
"Huh??" they replied.
Smiling, I hung up. Never mess with an Oregonian ;-)
Received a phone call from this number. The person (Mahogany) left a voicemail saying exactly what others have stated here. I will not be calling them back. I know a lot about GSA and doing work with GSA. This company 'GSA South Carolina' leaves a very misleading message in more ways than one. They are NOT GSA...and they may be able to help you win a 5 year contract with the federal government...but it would be an empty contract with no real work on it. Stay away from them.
