This number called my work # twice at 1:23am... no message! It could be FedEx related, because my phone number goes on all our waybills.

i received a voicemail on my cell phone today from a woman (Pam) claiming to be from FedEx, wanting to verify some information in relation to a check for about $2000 .  I have never personally used FedEx - only used it through work and my name never appears on any documentation, so i don't know how they got my number.  when i called the number back, it just rang out - Obvoiusly not FedEx!

hmmmm
As most here have said, the message I received from 901-263-9400 was said to be from FedEx - a billing account question. I do ship, and I am the contact, so it's plausible...but, I was given an invoice number that the call was said to be about, and my online account is unable to track anything with it. I call back to the number left on the message (888-877-2011), and it just rings and rings - nothing.

This # 9012639400 IS from FedEx - I just spoke to a representative there.  He admitted it is their fax #.  He said my phone # would be removed right away, we'll see.  I told him it needed to be done NOW since my voicemail was being filled up with beeping messages.  I asked how/why this could happen - didn't have an answer.

Call FedEx at 800-463-3339.  Say "representative" to speak to someone.

It is ridiculous that a company as large and supposedly as sophisticated as FedEx can let this happen...  Idiots.

The Truth
I got a voicemail from this number stating she was from FEDEX and needed a Credit Card number for the account - (sure here you go - NOT)

I happen to have a business account w/fedex that has been used by another party and is under investigation.  I called FEDEX and gave them both number including 901 397 2493

Here the problem people - all of this including this site DOES NOT MATTER

Ever heard of the SpoofCard http://www.spoofcard.com/ - It lets you call anyone and have the Caller ID displays ANYTHING you want it to!  So a scammer can call you and the caller id say FEDEX (Or Walmart, VISA, Your Bank, Police Dept etc.) so you feel comfortable in answering and (God forbid) giving out the information they want.

BE CAREFUL!!!!
