Very odd call. Woman said she was from Fedex. She asked a few very general questions. Did we use Fedex ground, are we happy, is there anything she could do for us. She praised fedex ground saying they are the fastest ground delivery. The call had a "hollow" sound to it.
No requests for personal / company information.
I received a call, but let it go to voicemail. The message indicated that the call was from FEDEX and she wanted to confirm the Credit Card that was associated with my FEDEX account. I do not have a FEDEX account. Must be some type of telemarketing firm trying to get information or calls.
This number is actually Fedex Revenue Services. If it's not being spoofed they should leave a message with an 866-707-xxxx number. The last 4 digits being the reps extension. They usually do ask you to confirm your billing address but they won't ask for credit card info unless you actually have open invoices and want to pay them with a credit card.

We are having a horrible problem with Fed X-- their fax machine keeps calling our home phone--it kept us up since it was dark this morning. Sunday morning--when we had planned to sleep in, having been up very late the night before.
We googled the phone number from our caller id.
This info came up-- many people have had this same problem:

I phoned 800-Go-Fedex
Fed X recording says no one in the US is available.
Nancy Garcia in El Salvador was extremely unhelpful--and when I asked for a supervisor, she put me on hold indefinitely. She spoke in rapid Spanish when I asked for information even though I had told her I spoke no Spanish.
I phoned the 800 number again and somehow got through to Phoenix even though the recording said no one in the US was available.
Fred Smith--Fed X president Memphis 800- ask for executive services m-f business hours. They will send a computer generated letter of apology.
spoke to
Jessica Ruvalcaba Phoenix Az
Tim Wolfrum Phoenix Az
The Fax number is 901-263-9400.
Karen Pablica -is Tim's supervisor-- she says Fed X will take no responsibility for my (and my family's) loss of sleep and time spent trying to deal with this issue.
Roberto Sagardia Memphis- is Nancy Garcia's supervisor
They call early in the morning. 8:15AM was the last call I received. I did not pick up to see what the call was about, as I have no business with FedEx at this time. I was busy, so I ignored the call. Strange that it wasn't from an toll-free number.
