I have been getting these calls for a few weeks now. THe had been calling my parents and my elderly father had not been telling me. Finally got the messages and called them. They told me I had a warrent out for me over payday loans which I had NEVER had. Told them to send info proving it and I was told I would have to make a payment arrangment first. Uh No.... Just realized they have called 8 times on my cell since Thursday. Gonna call the police tomorrow.
Very disturbing call, more than once, I ignored. Then, got tired and returned call - spoke to lady who verified my name and date of birth.....then informed me that they will contact local law enforcement because I had an unpaid "payday" loan (which I do not) - is it truly a scam?
Did you receive anything IN WRITING that was MAILED to you by this company??
You are not warned of law enforcement (or a summons) is coming.
You know you did not have a loan so tell them to do what I typed first - you will hear excuses & illegal, meaningless threats. The are trying to extort money from you.
A few hours ago
I received a call from this guy stating that if I, or my attorney did not call he will put this in my record and have a warning out for me arrest. And that was in my voicemail
A few minutes ago I went to police station together what was happening about this guy and I was just telling me is a scam and not to worry about it so if anyone is going through the same thing from the same guy just ignore him
Well hello Mr Walter Harrington - congrats on another scam call. Why don't you take your own advice and govern yourself accordingly, and try getting a real job, scum sucking bottom feeder with no ability to verify the claims you are making. I have filed a complaint with the appropriate agency, and we all know you troll these sites and comment about how you were so glad you called back and took care of the problem and how easy it was to do so.
Seriously, there are enough real issues in the world people have to deal with on a daily basis.
