Been receiving calls from several different St Judes #'s. We support St Judes also, but not over the phone. We do it by direct contribution, where the organization get 100%, rather than 5 % from these scammers...
I've be getting calls from the following phone #'s 901-504-4596, 901-443-3382, 901-730-7904 with ID St Jude.
Been getting calls since Dec 1st every day after 5PM.
I guess by saying non-profit org they can by past DO NOT CALL LIST
This has to stop!
Wondering if St Jude is aware of this scam?
This number calls everyday!!! I can appreciate the legit ST JUDE hospital, however, I do not have money to donate at this time and I find it hard to fathom that ST JUDE hospital would be this annoying. I have not answered these calls.....caller ID says ST JUDE.
They are scammers!!! I heard on the news a few months ago that if anyone call saying they were from St.Jude Children's Hospital not to give them your information because St. Jude never calls you home for donations.
I have received numerous phone calls from this number and initially the stay quiet and then after a few seconds then they answer. I have been donating to St. Jude for numerous years and they always send you letters asking for donations. Don't fall into this scam.
The number is registered to St, Jude. For years, I was a Partner. I stopped supporting them when I was asked--and then told--to give more than I was giving each month. I give to multiple causes monthly and have never had the rude kind of donation solicitation as I have from these S.J. telemarketers. When a charity begins belittling its donors...it's time to move on and out.
