I just received a phone call from a female automated caller saying the irs is suing me and that I need to call this phone number (903) 326-9521. I know that this is a scam and I will not fall for it, but I do worry about senior citizens falling prey to these scams!!
Received a call from this number, called back and "Agent Robin Thompson" told me that IRS have a case against me and they were going to send the sheriff to put me in jail, they also threatened to suspend my Driver license and freeze my accounts, asked to speak with a manager and "Agent Mark Wilson" told me the same thing and he added that I would be very embarrassed in front of my son (he did hear the baby crying) and my neighbors if the police would arrest me.
It just left a message that said to call their dept. at 903-326-9521 and that it was urgent!!! Of course I never called them back. Anyone needing the Do Not Call number to register your phone that number is 1-888-382-1222 and it's FREE! The number calling you will show up even if it is out of state and they company will be notified not to call you anymore. I get these scammers calling and I don't answer then I block them on my phone.
received call on 7-17-2015 informing me that the" IRS is filing a lawsuit against you" and that I need to call 903-326-9521. Please let me know who they are and I'll be glad to shot them. GO Meet GOD!
Received an automated VM from this number stating that the IRS was suing us as well. This is a scam as we are in good standing with the IRS. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!
So I just received a call from this number, I let it go to voicemail and then called back. They asked me if I was Ms so and so and started telling me my address. Then they said a bench warrant has been issued for me. I started giving them attitude and they said would I like to have the local authorities come pick me up. Then I got a little more upset with them and every time I started to talk after that, they would start pressing phone buttons. I asked him to stop and he said it was me.. please---really??..so I couldn't say anything else because he was still pushing buttons and then he hung up on me.
