I just received a phone call from a female automated caller saying the irs is suing me and that I need to call this phone number (903) 326-9521. I know that this is a scam and I will not fall for it, but I do worry about senior citizens falling prey to these scams!!
Just got a call on my Cell phone. Funny cause I work from home and my number is listed. Stated it was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. When I attempted to call back got no answer.
Received call 7:15am. Answering machine picked up and recording said IRS was filing lawsuit against us. Knew immediately it was a scam. Since when does any government agency even work before 8am? LOL ... Knew it was a scam anyway because it's well-known fact that IRS never calls on phone. We're on do not call registry so we reported the call to the site. These scamming f-tards need to go to h*e*ll ! ! !
The IRS called from this Texas number to inform me that they were filing suit against me. The language structure of the robo-call was poor, inferring a non-native speaker put it together. Scary, if I didn't know it was a scam.
