I have the same problem from the same number. They all act dumb like this has never happened before. I ask to speak to managers, etc. and I am met with the same weak excuse and promise it will not happen again. Who would like to file a class action suit against them? This is get very old.
I have been receiving these calls from Safe Touch for some time now. I have told them that I am not interested but the calls still come....THEN I discovered a feature on my phone which allows me to send any incoming number directly to voicemail. This was the best solution as they do not leave a message.
Called here in Orlando at 6pm on May 23, 2011. This time I picked up and told her to check 800notes.com because 904-309-5370 is pissing off a lot of people who are on the DO NOT CALL list. She responded like a smart [***] and said she needed to feed her children and could not heed to the DO NOT CALL list because her children were hungry. I asked to be taken off her call list because they call every week and I'm getting fed up.
She said she would make a note to her supervisor, who may or may not take me off the list.
I would never recommend this company in a million years!!!!!
"She ... said she needed to feed her children and could not heed to the DO NOT CALL list because her children were hungry" is like I have a right to commit crimes to feed my kids. All parents have kids to feed but not all parents break laws to feed them. I guess Madoff also had kids to feed.
How can we stop these calls from Safetouch? As soon as I answer, they hang up. I call back only to stay on hold with a robot for 10 minutes. I'm super frustrated!
