This is a legit call from PSE&G (usually as a reminder of a pending meter reading), it is a robo-call, but is most definitely __not__ a scam of any kind.
PSE&G calling to remind you to allow access for their meter reader tomorrow. The message is given in English and Spanish. If you don't want these calls you can leave your meter reading at your front door or call them and report the reading prior to your scheduled monthly reading day. They have a plastic replica of your meter dial that you can request which allows you set the dials to match your meter, then you just it on your front door. No more reminder calls.
Thank God this number left a message! 908-272-3680 is from PSEG to inform me that LIHEAP will pay my PSEG bill to prevent shutoff and I should give 800-510-3102 (a call to inquire) I called and they offer emergency assistance to low income families. I believe this number 908-272-3680 is an automated number from PSEG even if you are not low income. I have to wonder why they waited until one day before my shutoff date to announce this option?
This is a legislate call from PSE&G, alerting the customer that they are due for a meter reading. I have no idea why everyone comments that it's some young girl.
