This was a legit call for me from PSE&G. They left a message stating that they have not been able to physically read my gas meter in several months and asked that someone be available on my next meter reading date to access for an actual reading.
If you have a balance with PSEG, make the payments on their website or the customer service 800 on your bill. The number we are discussing calls to solicit payment, and as stated above, is a scam.
