Call from "windows" which I have had numerous times. They want to gain control of your computer to fix a serious problem. Dangerous for people who might not understand what they are doing!
You may be doing yourself a favor without an answer, continue to ignore the calls and my guess is they'll lay off. As far as I'm concerned, answering machines, and voice mails are no longer an ally.
We get calls several times a week from these people. I usually do not answer and they leave no message. This evening the caller ID said Verizon and the fellow named "Neal" with a very heavy Indian accent said he was calling from Microsoft. I told him off and hung up. There has to be SOMETHING to stop these people but I have no idea what it is.
This same number has now called two days in a row...today being the second and they have called 4 times. Yesterday was twice. I just don't answer but how fricking annoying. Anyone have an answer that has worked to get them to stop calling?
