Steppingstone is a company that peddles "family-friendly" (religious) movies. The owner, Brian, is very talkative and generally polite, but if you don't personally ask him to stop calling you, he'll continue at all hours of the day (from spoofed phone numbers all over the U.S.), until you're driven to insanity. What he SHOULD be doing is marketing his products through churches, where he'd have s more receptive audience, instead of giving himself a terrible reputation as a merciless telemarketer. In a way, I feel sorry for him. Telephone sales (especially cold-calling) is a horrible, depressing way to make a living. In a nutshell, Steppingstone is annoying as hell, but harmless; not a criminal enterprise, as some here have stated.
Brian from Stepping Stones called again and once again I* told him NOT to call me anymore, We shall see. Says they make children's movies that are strictly clean movies.Trying to get money to produce movies. Yea right!!!!
Don't waste any of your energy answering these folks. Its really just a waste of everyones time. They say its a simple survey, & then later start to ask for donations to make their own films. Something about clean films. Good idea....but it won't be on my dime. Just saying...
