Talked to Verizon - they say they don't call from any number like that. Hang up and call Verizon directly if you get this call.
I'm not the principle account holder on a family plan and they were calling me...someone has a swatch of Verizon account information and they'll farming it for people who are willing to give their credit card in order to "prevent their account from being disconnected". While they have names and numbers, they do not have accurate billing information.
Never give payment information to someone that calls you. Call them, at a number that you know to be reliable.
id like to point out to everyone that 1 out of every 10 post has one of these scammers saying that its verizon and your late on your payment....90% of all these posts say its a scam and the other 1% is the scammer covering his [***]......dont get scammed
The company is Sunward , Rockford, Wedgcor, Gold Seal, Utility King and several other names they go by but address is the same 6800 Hampden avenue in Denver. The owner is Danton Wirth and is a shady operation that gets contractors to pay a dealership fee to do business with the company which is ridiculous.
Anyone falling for this scam is either very desperate or has not done their homework. Steer clear of this company as what I have found is they are very unethical. The managment is the owner and a Doug Kizzer.
