Talked to Verizon - they say they don't call from any number like that. Hang up and call Verizon directly if you get this call.
I'm not the principle account holder on a family plan and they were calling me...someone has a swatch of Verizon account information and they'll farming it for people who are willing to give their credit card in order to "prevent their account from being disconnected". While they have names and numbers, they do not have accurate billing information.
Never give payment information to someone that calls you. Call them, at a number that you know to be reliable.
Called on my home phone, I don't use Verizon, I always goole unknown numbers, saves me a lot of grief. You would think SC attorney general would like to know about this. Probably a remote site to Nigeria a good percentage of scams originate there.
received call 910-338-0671 unknowm please do not call, I will report to the National do not call list. I am very upset, in the stage in age, it is unnecessary.
They called me and told me and told me they were from Verizon. I jumped on this thread and read through while talking to them. When I let them know that I know they are scammers because of this site, they hung up on me lol.
