This is the second night in a row that we have gotten a call from this number. Caller ID says the name of the company who is calling is Payday, but I have no idea of who they are and I have no idea what they want. They won't say anything at all when we pick up the phone. I have blocked the number from calling us here anymore.
Received a call from this number today from "Jim" at "Microsoft Technical Support". Here's how the conversation went:
Me: Hello
Jim: Hello?
Me: Hello
Jim: Hello?
Me: I already said that.
Jim: OK, hello. This is "Jim" from Microsoft Technical Support calling with an urgent notice about your computer.
Me: OK, I'll play. Whatcha got?
Jim: We have received notices over the past couple of weeks regarding an issue with your computer.
Now, last time I told them I didn't run Windows but Linux (which I was told was not an operating system), so I decided to go another route.
Me: Do you like potatoes?
Jim: Yes, it is likely that your computer has been infected with malicious code.
Me: Do you like potatoes?
Jim: Have you been getting pop-ups on your computer?
Me: Potatoes. Do you like them?
Jim: Sorry?
Me: P-o-t-a-t-o-e-s, do you like them?
Jim: No...
Me: (before he can get a word in) You don't? Who doesn't like potatoes?
Jim: I...
Me: That's just crazy, I don't think I've ever heard of someone that doesn't like potatoes.
Jim: But...
Me: Potatoes are awesome, you have to be insane not to like potatoes.
Jim: WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME ABOUT POTATOES!?!?!?
Me: Why are you asking me about a computer you know nothing about?

I rec'd several calls from 914-200-4350,all in rapid-fire succession( ID'd as PAYDAY). I did not answer any of the calls nor was any message left, whoever recruits these callers must pay really well. Sadly the job market is soooooo bad desperate people are willing to take positions requiring them to endlessly terrorize innocent people with scam calls at every hour of the day. There must be a way to put an end to this kind of torture.
Called five times in 6 minutes!! I asked for a call back on November 5th of 2095, since I was on my way out the door... first he said OK.. he would jot the number down!!!! He keeps calling.... I keep telling them to call back on Nov 5th 2095
10 calls so far.. and it keeps ringing...
