This is the second night in a row that we have gotten a call from this number. Caller ID says the name of the company who is calling is Payday, but I have no idea of who they are and I have no idea what they want. They won't say anything at all when we pick up the phone. I have blocked the number from calling us here anymore.
Very thick accent, male voice, stated,"This is a salvage call for your computer". I said, "Sorry, you have the wrong number." and hung up. I do like the "potatoes" idea from "Grumpy", though!
Just answer and say "Federal Trade Commision This conversation is being recorded for your own protection, Who am I speaking to please? >>> quick hang up before I'm finished sometimes, lol
Call with this phone # was bumped from my cellphone by Mr. Number app because it was not in my contact list. After reading the comments from other folks who have been blessed by this person calling, I can only say I'm not disappointed to have missed this call.
WOW They just called and hung up on me in less than a minute. I hope nobody falling for this BS SCAM..
Call for a New York # 914-200-4350.. This SCAM needs to be shut down quick.
Payday came up with this number. Same story. Said there was a problem with my computer. I told him the problems that he thought he could scam me. He hung up. My friend said they tried to get her to give them her IP address so they could "fix" her computer remotely. Don't EVER give out your IP address.
