Call blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID.
Threatening to sue a dead family member over a fake civil matter time and again! They leave harassing messages even after I told on several occasions wrong number and did not even live here. This is simply electronic harassment with a recorded message punishable with up to 15 years in prison..go get 'em!!
Calls from 919-229-4576 recording threatened legal action and demanding return call to 877-228-0244. Stated a docket # but that part of the recording was blank. Fishy, or should I say "phi shy"

919-229-4576 mentioning something about a civil claim and I needed to call by the end of business today. The number to call was 877-228-0244, but like many of the other posts they said to reference a number, but it went silent with no number given. Sounds like a scam to me. I did not call that number back, but I will be calling the state because we are on the Do Not Call list.
THIS IS A SCAM!!! Got a call to my cell phone from this number. First off, the msg left said I was being listed in a case of possible civil claim of fraud and to call by the end of the business day. They listed my married name which I have not had for the past 10 years which I thought was odd. So I called the number given as the call back number and the recording never said a business name, it just said leave a message and someone would call you back. DO NOT LEAVE ANY INFO AND MAKE SURE TO BLOCK THE NUMBER THAT CALLED YOU!!!!
