936-367-4096 called my cell phone and left a pre-recorded voice message that I was eligible fro a payday loan. The recorded greeting is a male voice which starts with "Hello, and congratulations. You have recently applied to a payday loan and have been pre-approved for our highest gold level... blah, blah blah..." I have never applied for a payday loan, this is a scam. The recording instructs me to got to www.MyFastWire.com and enter and type in a VIP promo code of xxxx.
So sick of these calls. If these kind of calls can't be stopped and the people behind them prosecuted then the technology should not be available to the public.
Rang until voicemail picked it up, they never left a message. Clearly a scam call. I suggest everyone here that got this call to place an alert with your three credit bureaus, so to avoid identity theft. The alert will be valid for 3 months, if anyone tries to get loans or whatever under your name the credit bureaus will call you first to confirm its you.
