For those of you who wonder how they got your number or you think the phone company is selling spoofed numbers,etc.
They are criminals!!! They call landlines,cells and anything else that will ring. They set up their ROBO DIALERS which dials EVERY number in your NNX. A NNX is the 3 digits that follows the area code.10 thousand numbers appear in each nnx (0000-9999)--they dial all 10K of the numbers like a machine gun--even the dead or not currently used numbers are also dialed. They make up a number to spoof---many times i have been called showing MY OWN # as the caller.They try all of these tricks to get us to pick up that handset.
